Day 25 – 28 Mar

Day 25 – 28 Mar
We woke up early in the morning and realize that we are in the heavens… The clouds are covering part of the mountain and it really seems we are up in the sky.

After breakfast, we begin our Wudang Shan journey up the “Jin Ding”. Its 4.5km up and practically the entire journey were to climb the stairs.

We passed by these places where before the actual start of the climbing… It’s still the relaxing stage…

The kongfu paradise??...

Ok beginning of the tough journey… Climbing up to “Jin Ding”…

I think it’s still a long way up from this point…

Look at the English words: “The face the sky palace”… haha don’t seem to be direct translation of the Chinese words…

Although it’s a very tiring process… but you can see interesting stuff along the way…

Working with the baby on back… tough job especially when you got to climb and sweep at the same time…

Continue climbing…

I think we are reaching soon… think positively…

Look!! Wearing heels to climb… impressive!

Almost reaching there… and Jean decided to try the “Jiao Zi”.

Look at the top… at least we can see it… but it looks near and yet so far…

Almost reaching!!

It’s so cold till there is ice!!

So many locks along the stairs…

There is still a bit more to go… Jia You!

Look at how tired everyone is…

Arrived!

We got to get our tickets and climb up another few flights of stairs before reaching the actual “Jing Ding”.

The god who protect the “Jin Dian”…

Beautiful view from the “Jing Ding”… we are so high up!

Yeh! Finally see this after such a long journey of hardwork… and Jean, Mei Xiu and I are one of the few early birds!! Very proud of ourselves…

The roof of the Jing Dian is made of copper… and when the sunlight shine on it directly, it will turn into gold color…

I went to get the lock… one for my family and one for myself… is for good luck and and safety…

My lock is now secure on one of the metal wire… hope it can stay there forever…

After staying at the top for more than 1 hour, we will begin our journey back down… the same route we came from, the same route to return…

One group photo before we head down…

As it’s already late morning, there are many people climbing up and burning stuff…

Look… we took the opportunity to take a picture with the “Jiao Zi” when there is no one around guarding it…

Look at his posture!! Very irritating!! Haha!

At this point of time, we are reaching the place we begin our journey from, although it’s a very tired and time consuming activity, it is a very good experience we have…
